Welcome to our Building of Love 

The Wedding Tree was founded in 1976 and has been a proud member of the downtown La Crosse community ever since. In 1996, Debra Stangel purchased The Wedding Tree and moved the store to its current location, 418 Main Street. As the business grew, so did our store! Debra purchased the John Rehfuss building becoming the first woman to own the building it's 130 year history.

Our building houses over one thousand dresses, an exclusive bridal floor with private fitting rooms, a suit/tuxedo department, special occasion accessories, and in-store alterations. We are a full service shop offering storage, steaming, pressing, and more!

 

In 2015, we renovated the third floor into an event space called The Court Above Main.  Bringing a big city vibe with a historic feel to your event, The Court Above Main features floor to ceiling windows, an original wood ballroom floor, a custom bar, and  private bridal suite. The Wedding Tree is also the proud owner and producer of The La Crosse Wedding Expo!

 

Hosted at The La Crosse Center, this event allows engaged couples to get inspired and plan their big day. As an attendee, you can meet, connect, and book your wedding vendors in one day. With everything from photography to venues to caterers to transportation and beyond, you're sure to find everything on your list.
